The signed dial has its original gold ornate hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers picked out in gold paint. The case is in in nice condition for such an early piece, just light surface marking from use. The case is silver and has Swiss silver marks to the case and inner and outer covers. The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover which carries details of exhibition medals won. The movement is signed with the Zenith name and it has the serial number 1546002 which dates it back to 1913. The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
